Part Gen X'er and part Millennial, Brandy merges the generational gaps between old school communications and super technology users. With over 15 years of experience taking the written word and bringing it to life through digital communications and social media platforms. Her motto is to always focus on the solution, and the creativity will come naturally. 

She is skilled in Advertising, Editing, Creative Writing, Public Speaking and Marketing Communications. Brandy brings a strong marketing background and an arsenal of technology to each organization she consults with.

Crystal’s leadership has enabled AREA to have a proven track record of revenue growth and stability, increasing the company’s footprint into new geographies and integration of new service capabilities. 


Balancing her strong analytical skills with her artistic passion, Crystal previous background also included serving as Ambassador Dr. Juanita Bynum’s exclusive photographer and creative director for over 10 years. Crystal’s experience includes extensive international travel with photography shoots in London, Amsterdam, Durban, Johannesburg, Lagos, Ghana, and across the nation.

Jai McClendon JonesFounder & Executive Artistic Director 

Awarded for her artistic prowess, Atlanta native Jai McClendon Jones is the Visionary & Artistic Director of award-winning performing arts training & development brand, AREA, Atlanta’s Resource for Entertainment & Arts LLC. Touting locations in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL with a non-profit 501c(3) vertical, AREA Non-Profit, Inc., Jai celebrates over two decades of serving the Atlanta community, and has forged a legacy and trademark of excellence, cultivating talented youth impacting the industry, and the development of strategic partnerships with Atlanta Public Schools,  The Weber School (Jewish Community High School), Boys & Girls Club of America, Girl Scouts of America, Kenny Leon’s True Color Theater Company, La Danse Noire, Dunham Institute of Atlanta, National Black Arts Festival, Living Your Art, and global artist, India.Arie to name a few.​


Denise McClendon | Artistic Director

Denise Smith McClendon, is the founder of the McClendon School of Dance, then converted to McClendon Performing Arts Institute (MPAI), which was one of the oldest and most prestigious dance schools, owned by an African American woman in the state of Georgia. In 2017,  she merged with her daughter Jai McClendon Jones and AREA.  Her passion, commitment and dedication to the development of students has over the years gained her high praises and recognition in the dance community. The joining forces of  AREA & MPAI has propelled  Denise's philosophies and techniques of teaching and developing artist to new levels. She saw the future of performing arts; whereby she with pride joined the old and proven to the future establishing a performing arts organization which will far exceed any other in the Southern region.
